Shopping in Edmonton
Edmonton has many shops and stores that would make any vacation seem more special. This seems to be true because Edmonton features a fantastic selection of boutiques, department stores and locally owned stores that sell everything from A to Z.
Here's a quick shopper's guide to some of the more interesting stores and malls in Edmonton. If you enjoy antiques and fine clothes, you ought to go visit the Whyte Avenue Shopping District. It's located on 82nd Avenue between 99th and 109th Streets. It features over 100 stores that sell antiques, fine furnishings and hip clothing boutiques. Most of the stores located here are accessible on Edmonton's light rail line from 8 AM to about 10 PM each day.
Finally, don't forget to have a look at many of the locally owned stores that dot the city's City Centre.Many of these stores are located between 97th Street and 115th Street near the Bay/Enterprise light rail station.
